Michael Curry, Jr.
Chief Operations OfficerTerry Smith, Chief Operations Officer, joined Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating in 2010 and is currently responsible for overseeing all operations of the company including marketing, technology, scheduling, sales and financials.
Terry has over 10 years of experience in management giving him excellent business savvy and in-depth knowledge of running a company from the top to the bottom. Terry was awarded the 2014 Up & Comer Award from Lifestyle Media Group.
Terry received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Management and Marketing from Cornell University and a MBA in Finance from Ohio University. Terry is active in the community volunteering for several organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, St Gregory the Great Church and School, and the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center.
In his spare time, Terry likes spending time with his wife Maite and 5 children Megan, Erin, Lauryn, Camryn and Brian. Terry enjoys watching his children compete in various sporting activities.
Johnny Jackson, Production Manager, has been with Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating since 2006. Johnny oversees all of our crews, five Project Managers and the 2000+ jobs Atlantic Southern Paving & Sealcoating performs each year.
He is also responsible for scheduling, training and safety for all personnel in the field as well as recruitment of new talent. Johnny started as CDL Driver/ Skid Steer Operator and was quickly promoted to Sealcoating Superintendent due to his leadership skills and dedication.
Prior to joining Atlantic Southern Paving, Johnny was working with the United States National Guard in the same capacity as a member of the 269th Engineering Unit. In his spare time, Johnny enjoys exercising and weightlifting to help clear his mind and stay healthy.
Kevin Dawson, Controller, joined Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating in 2015. His responsibilities include overseeing accounts receivables and payables, financial statements, cash management, budgeting, corporate insurance, and collections.
With more than 30 years of experience in both finance and information systems, Kevin has a strong background in accounting, financial planning and analysis, forecast and budget preparation, and information technology management. His knowledge of financial processes and systems has helped him achieve success in driving the development and implementation of cost reduction and automation efforts as well as information system and software enhancements
Kevin earned both his Bachelor of Management Information Systems Degree and his Bachelor of Accounting Degree from Florida International University.
When he’s not working, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, Ellen, and teenage triplets, Kyle, Brandon and Kaitlyn. They are all active in the performing arts, participating in theatre, dance and musical productions.
Accounting ManagerJessica Martinez, Accounting Manager, joined Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating in October 2015.
She is responsible for managing the Accounting Department which includes overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, job cost set-ups, payroll, human resources, employee benefits, corporate insurance, and managing insurance claims.
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She has more than 15 years of experience in small business, public, and corporate accounting.
